Description

As many of you may know, due to the death of Carol Felts, there will be a special election for her remaining term of 2026-2028. District 1 (Parrish, portions of Palmetto, portions of Ellenton, Duette, Myakka City) will have the opportunity to vote for a new commissioner, first by primaries in August and then a general election in November. This event is being hosted by the Parrish Civic Association and all candidates are invited to attend (this list does not guarantee that all candidates will attend). Everyone is welcome to attend. The Parrish Civic Association is NOT endorsing any particular candidate and is providing this information for those who may be interested in attending.
